Brought up in London, Sue Whitmore studied Fine Art at the Central, Wimbledon and Sir John Cass Schools of Art and read Philosophy and History of Art at University College London. She is passionate about trees and the figure and also works from her imagination.
An artist and published poet, her major collections, 'Sue. Realist' and 'Blood. Fish & Bone, Books I & II' contain poems, drawings and prints.

She has had many solo exhibitions and has shown in the RA Summer Exhibition. Landscape work and exhibitions have taken her all over the world.
Her father was the artist and teacher, Robert Whitmore.
