Sue Rowling
Sue Rowling is a painter and printmaker. She trained at Winchester School of Art as a textile designer and worked for many years as a fabric designer before becoming involved with trend predictions and colour consultancy. It is the use of colour, tone and light that informs all her pieces wether an abstract or landscape.
She uses a silk screen which she paints through as her starting point. This imagery is then built up in multiple layers to create unique mono prints often with hand painting.
Her work is held in many Private and Public collections notably The Royal Bank of Scotland, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office,The British Medical Associations London Headquarters. Croydon University Hospital and St Georges Hospital London.
Artwork is also held with the Victoria and Albert Museum.
