Steve Edwards creates his landscapes with lino, using traditional carving methods and also etching the lino to create textural marks. He layers multiple blocks over each other to create his prints. He is drawn to the etched lino process because of its lack of control and unpredictability. Steve draws on his own photography as a starting point for his prints. He loves the juxtaposition of the manmade with the elemental.
